Karachi, Pakistan

After any, and all books are shipped across the ocean to The Citizens Archive of Pakistan, the organization then distributes them amongst local girls schools in the area who are in desperate need of better learning materials. Because of the fact that Karachi holds the title of being the largest, and also the busiest city in Pakistan, each year countless young women are looked over, and not provided with the education that they inherently deserve. Whether it is due to cultural elements that are present in the surrounding region, or the fact that many families simply lack the necessary funds or time to send their daughters to school alongside their sons, it is clear that there is an educational divide present in the area. Together, The Citizens Archive of Pakistan and Equality Through Education serve to eradicate this issue once and for all within Karachi, so that these young women will have the opportunity to continue the process of making the world a better place in the future.
